    • DNI (Spanish citizens only): do not enter the final letter.
    • NIE (Spanish identity card for foreigners): all letters and numbers.
    • Passport: all letters and numbers.
    • Identity document (only EU citizens): all letters and numbers.

    APPLICATION EDITION 2026-2028

    CALENDAR
    • 1st call for Applications (Erasmus Mundus scholarships): from 17 November to 17 December 2025 (12:00 am CET).
    • 2nd call for Applications (self-funded students): from 8 April to 7 May 2026 (12:00 am CET).

    PROCEDURE STEP-BY-STEP

    • STEP 1. Fill up the online application form.

    • STEP 2. Once this first step is done, candidates receive an automatic message in which they are provided further instructions on how to access the Document Manager where all documentation indicated on the programme website must be uploaded. It is recommended to send a unique PDF for each document and name the files as instructed. There is no 'submit' button. Once candidates upload their documents, they are automatically stored in the Document Manager.
      Please note that in case all required documentation is not provided the application will not be completed successfully and, as a consequence, it will not be considered for evaluation.

    • STEP 3. Candidates admitted in the 2nd call for applications (self-funded) have to pay a deposit of 400 EUR to guarantee their place in the programme. Detailed instructions on how to formalize this payment shall be provided in due course.
