Course Medical Anthropology and Global Health

Description of practical activities to be carried out: - Research assistance (support in field work, transcription of bibliography...). - Management of teaching material (audiovisuals, bibliography, databases...). - Collaboration in the application of ICT in teaching.		Specific competencies to be developed: A2. Master and know how to use advanced technical, methodological and theoretical tools used in basic and applied research in medical anthropology, global health and other related fields. A3. Know how to analyze advanced qualitative and ethnographic data, as well as quantitative, to advise and intervene in the fields of medical anthropology and global health. A5. Design and implement research projects based on the different methodologies and types of projects in the field of medical anthropology.

In the case of exceptional circumstances, the department and/or tutor may require the student to develop telematically. If telematic activity is not possible, the grant will be suspended at the direction of the department until the student can return to normal activity. Under no circumstances may the duration of the grant exceed the academic calendar for the current academic year. · Assessment by the tutor: Follow-up and evaluation of training activities carried out by the grant holders to comply with the educational requirements of the grants: 1. The training project is described in the grant scholarship summary and the grant holder's credential 2. As part of the process of evaluating and following-up the training activities, halfway through the grant the tutor conducts a follow-up interview to determine whether the student is acquiring the necessary learning competences 3. The grant holders have to evaluate their performance regarding the activities that they have carried out. 4. Before the end of the grant, the tutor evaluates the learning competences acquired by the student over the course of the scholarship 5. The course certificate certifies that the grant holder has satisfactorily acquired the necessary learning competencies The units may determine other systems for evaluating the activities carried out by the student over the course of the scholarship "
